Monorail train on the mountain

  It has over 40 years of experience in the “monorail train” business. Working around the world it has developed a number of bespoke systems. In response to the specific requirements in the famous ski resort of Arosa in Switzerland a new and very advanced people mover system was required to meet the terrain found in this mountainous area. Capable of travelling up and down gradients of 50% or even more, the system is mounted onto a lightweight rail system capable of following the terrain closely.​

Monorail Train P6 in the attractions

  From panorama rides in theme parks and exhibitions to professional transportation systems in shopping centres and the like, the P6 offers an ideal solution. Capable of climbing gradients up to 20%, travel through tight curves and radii, the P6 can fit into areas traditionally not considered. Since the P6 is a modular system, the number of cabins can be varied from 3 to 10 or more. Options available include air-conditioning, various finishes, a range of different seats, audio systems, display systems etc. enabling the P6 to meet every customer's requirements.

City monorail train P30

  The P30 monorail is a response to the demands and requirements of urban transportation authorities and airport operators, for a safe, fast, and reliable transportation system. The system is most suitable for public transportation services in cities and allows city-planners for a fast implementation of an efficient mass transit system. The train is characterized by an innovative design, spacious cabins convenient for both standing and seated passengers and is equipped with large size door openings for easy and quick passenger access. They are characterised by route planning flexibility, low construction costs, low operation costs due to the high automation degree and are environmental friendly with virtually no emissions. 


 

   The train guiding system combined with a sophisticated automatic train protection and guiding solution, allows for a driverless operation of the trains and optimisation of line performance while improving the safety of operation. The high degree of automation makes it also possible to operate the system with a minimum number of staff. State-of-the-art communications systems with on-board passenger information system together with large window areas enhance the environment to a superior level of comfort. The trains travel quietly and quickly to their destinations, offering an efficient transportation method, especially during the rush hour.

City monorail train

 

  It located at the University of Dortmund, Germany, is an automatically controlled uspended monorail system in Germany. It carries more than 5,000 passangers per day.

 

 

  On May 2, 1984 this facility opened as the first system of this kind in Germany. It is integrated into the public transport networks of the city of Dortmund and the tariff union VRR of the Rhein-Ruhr district.
